Diversity, equity and inclusion are key principles for how our Chapter conducts its work. We have a diverse multicultural membership which we value, celebrate and strive to represent and serve in all we do as a chapter.
The Chapter's values statement grounds our focus on diversity stating: We are respectful, inclusive, and value the diversity and richness of our global stakeholders. We put people first without compromising standards, policies, or quality.
We believe that coaches have an important role in creating a better world and we actively work to live this value throughout the chapter. Racial Justice and inclusion are common themes in our monthly programming and are key themes in programming for International Coaching Week and the Capital Coaches Conference. We seek diversity in our pro bono commitments and are committed to open and inclusive chapter community networking initiatives. We have a racial justice community of practice that is open to all members.
We will continue to use the lens of diversity as we grow and promote the value of coaching.
