Biography
Alison Vaux-Bjerke, MPH, MCHES, Principal at Empowered Presence Coaching, LLC, began her formal leadership and career coaching journey in 2022. She has served as a federal internal coach since then, supporting other federal employees through coaching. Through Empowered Presence Coaching she is expanding her coaching sphere into private practice.
Informally, coaching has been part of her life since she can remember. She has always been drawn to helping others, be it through teaching, being an ear or a shoulder for someone in need, or at one point in her life, as a recess coach!
Her coaching philosophy is centered on the belief that YOU are creative, resourceful, and whole. YOU are the expert in your life and Alison creates an open and safe space to help identify what internal resources you possesses to achieve your desired goals.
As a coach, Alison prides herself on being a neutral, but empathetic ear and helping clients identify sticking points to work through. She believes that authentic confidence is the key to thriving professionally and has coached individuals through time management and prioritization, self-advocacy, and action planning towards a goal.
