Biography

James Simmons is a dynamic leadership coach and strategic advisor who takes a direct, results-driven approach to leadership development. James brings over a decade of leadership coaching and consulting experience, spanning nonprofit organizations, private enterprises, higher education institutions, and the federal government. His expertise covers a wide range of organizational priorities, including systems evaluation and improvement, performance management, strategic workforce and succession planning, leadership and employee development, and talent management. His portfolio includes critical areas such as senior executive management, HR operations, employee and labor relations, learning and development, change management, internal culture transformation, and human capital policy and accountability.

He is certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) through Georgetown University’s Executive Leadership Certificate Program and holds the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.
