Biography
Roxie Daneshvar is a Career Program Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Previously, she ran the Professional Development Program (Group Coaching, Executive Coaching, Mentoring Program) at the National Institutes of Health's Office of Acquisitions and Logistics Management Division, after initially joining NIH as the Program Manager for the Management Intern Program at the NIH Training Center.
Prior to joining NIH, she was a law librarian at the United States Department of Justice. During her time there, she also served as the Training Coordinator and the Internship Coordinator for DOJ Libraries. She is an alumni of DOJ’s senior leadership program, LEAP (Leadership Excellence & Achievement Program) and elected co-chair of the LEAP Alumni Council. Before her tenure at DOJ, she was the Director of Prospect Research at the Harvard Graduate School of Education; a competitive intelligence research analyst at a consulting firm; and a case manager at various agencies throughout Maryland.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the Evergreen State College in Psychology, her Masters in Library & Information Science with a focus in Reference & Instruction from Simmons University.
She received her coaching certification from CoachDiversity Institute, and her ACC from the International Coaching Federation.
