Biography
U.S. Army Brigadier General (Retired) Joy Curriera brings her exceptional leadership and business experience over a 32-year military career to her work as an Executive Coach, Senior Leadership Advisor/Trainer, and Consultant – empowering individuals and teams to excel in complex, challenging, fast-paced environments.
Joy has served successfully at the tactical, operational and strategic leadership levels across the Department of Defense. Joy now looks to impart her wisdom and diversified experience to leaders and professionals at all levels, in any industry. She has a deep desire to pay it forward and a passion for empowering others to unlock their full potential. With the personal leadership mantra “Ever Forward,” first shared by a military mentor of her own, Joy continues to inspire and guide others to successfully lead with their best selves.
Joy has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and master’s degrees in Human Resources Management (Webster University) and National Security Strategy (National War College). She is a certified Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching and striving towards her ICF ACC credentialing.
