Biography
Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I help late-career leaders realize their next chapter. Based on lessons learned from my own curving path journey, extensive research, and learnings from my clients, my methodology and approach offers a path forward, combining deep reflection with action planning and practical tools. First, we'll work through your Emotional Readiness Inventory©, enabling you to confront fears, assess your legacy, and open possibilities. Next, my Identity + Community + Time Framework© will challenge and inspire you to create your Next Chapter Plan©: WHO do I want to be, with WHOM, and doing WHAT? In our coaching sessions, you'll benefit from my reality-based approach (no rah-rah, sugar-coating here) mixed in with love, empathy and compassion. If you're interested in learning more after reading about me below, I offer a complimentary consultation (one hour). You'll share what's going on, I offer you some immediate feedback and support, you ask me any questions you want, and we decide if we're a fit, or not (no pressure on either of us!)
I received my Certified Professional Coach (CPC) certification from the College for Executive Coaching (an ICF-certified coaching program). I also completed Coach Approach training at Deloitte and was awarded an Ellen Gabriel Fellowship and leadership training at Columbia Business School. I served as an Adjunct Faculty member at George Mason University, where I received my Master’s degree in Sociology, with a dual concentration in Conflict Analysis & Resolution; and Race & Ethnicity. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Swarthmore College.
Previously, I held leadership positions at Deloitte, AT&T, and Fannie Mae Foundation. From executive communications to public relations and corporate social responsibility, I served as a spokesperson, partnership-builder, and nonprofit advocate, creating award-winning programs, and developing executive and community leaders. My first career was as an educator, and I continue to channel my love of learning and the possibilities for human growth to help others find their unique path forward.
I’ve lived in the Washington DC area most of my life, raising two wonderful young men, and live in McLean, VA with my husband, Peter, and my rescue pup, Ellie.
For more info on me, and how I've helped others find their next chapter, I encourage you to check out my website and and LinkedIn profile (please connect there, too!) below.
If you’re a coach, I'd love to compare notes! Also, I'm proud to serve on the Pro Bono Committee of our ICF Metro DC chapter and would love to get you involved!
Thanks for reaching out, and I look forward to meeting you!
