Biography
My eclectic mix of knowledge, education, and experience allows me to bring deep empathy and highly-tuned awareness to coaching sessions, prioritizing overall emotional health, mental fitness, and spiritual well-being.
As a former business advisor, leadership consultant, corporate instructor, and a current business owner, I bring a wealth of knowledge of diverse professional experience to my methods and practice. My expertise is enriched by training in several esteemed leadership and personality assessment tools, enabling me to create a client experience where self-awareness helps clients forge their unique paths towards clearer goals.
I hold a graduate degree in organizational development and knowledge management (ODKM), which enhances my understanding of the work-life dynamic and its impact on positive client experiences. My undergraduate background, with a double major in nursing and business administration, provides me with a comprehensive understanding of the psychological, physiological, and physical effects of life and workplace experiences on health and well-being.
As a mentor to aspiring young professionals, I emphasize the distinction between coaching and mentorship. Mentorship involves sharing one’s experiences to create a blueprint for others to follow, while coaching focuses on helping individuals uncover and develop their own unique talents.
Drawing from my own journey, a mentor once told me, “you cannot take a client where you have never been.” This wisdom underscores my approach, as I leverage my extensive background in corporate, business, consulting, training, spiritual, and life experiences to deliver maximum value to my clients.
My unique approach to goal-setting integrates principles from positive intelligence, appreciative inquiry, change management, and group dynamics and my personalized imPACTtm method has empowered clients to achieve objectives with greater success and satisfaction.
