Biography
I am a business, executive, and leadership coach, dedicated to helping organizations and leaders achieve measurable results. As the host of the Fit for Growth podcast, I share practical insights and strategies from business owners and executives, extending my expertise to a broader audience. My work is grounded in a simple philosophy: simplify complexity, clarify options, and empower people to make confident decisions that drive positive outcomes.
I bring experience in improving operational efficiency, boosting revenue, and leading high-impact projects in both the federal and private sectors. From mission-driven environments to entrepreneurial settings, I consistently achieve results by aligning strategy with execution while managing diverse stakeholder expectations.
I have served at the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency, and represented the United States as an accredited advisor at United Nations meetings in Geneva, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Americas. I’ve also held leadership and consulting roles with the Anacostia Economic Development Corporation, the Washington DC SBDC, the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and CFO Services Group, LLC.
As the owner of 19Seventeen, LLC, I partner with business owners and organizations to strengthen their operations and growth strategies through Business and Executive coaching. I also serve as Director of Grants and Programs at the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, leading a team of 18 independent business consultants and coaches. From 2022 to 2024, I was honored to serve as a coach for the SBA THRIVE program in both Washington, DC, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The DC Cohort, in 2024, ranked in the top 10 among 65 cohorts nationwide.
Continuous learning is a cornerstone of my growth. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Planning from Towson University, an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and Master's Certificates in Executive Coaching and Leadership Coaching. I’m an International Coaching Federation (ICF) ACC-accredited coach. I also hold the Accredited Small Business Consultant® (AASBC) certification and am an active member of both the International Coaching Federation and the Association for Accredited Business Consultants.
