Biography
Margot Halstead, MCC, PMP, MBA is a leadership communication strategist, speaker, and executive coach who helps leaders recognize and manage the internal reactions that shape their conversations, decisions, and impact. With more than 25 years of experience, she works with individuals and organizations to strengthen interpersonal effectiveness through practical, tools-based approaches that can be applied immediately in real-time interactions.
A Master Certified Coach (MCC), certified PCC Marker Assessor, and ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Provider, Margot brings deep expertise in both the practice and assessment of coaching aligned to ICF Core Competencies. She has supported multi-cohort coaching programs, providing coaching, facilitation, and structured feedback used to evaluate readiness for ICF credentialing.
Margot is the author of Owning Your IT and is known for translating complex behavioral and communication dynamics into clear, usable tools. Her sessions are highly interactive and focus on helping participants build awareness, gain control over internal dialogue, and navigate the “messy moments” that define effective coaching and leadership.
