Biography
Carol C. Robinson is a retired educator, serving over 30 years as teacher, strategic planning specialist, and middle school principal. She earned her doctorate from Virginia Tech in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
Carol continued her joy of helping others by selecting coaching as her encore career. In 2012 she launched her business CC Robinson & Associates, LLC, working with aspiring and new entrepreneurs and leaders. She earned coaching certifications with the International Coaching Federation (Profession Certified Coach), Global Team Coaching Institute (Practioner), Center for School Transformation (Evocative Coach), and CoachVille (CoachVille Professional Certified Coach). She is also a certified assessor for EQ-i 2.0 (Multi-Health Systems), National Institute for School Leadership (NISL), and DriV (Leadership Worth Following).
Carol continues to be involved in the non-profit world through her leadership (Virginia Association of Secondary School Principals/ VASSP, Virginia Foundation for Educational Leadership/VFEL, Centreville Immigration Forum), coaching, and volunteerism. She is active in her Rotary Club of Centreville-Chantilly and the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce. Carol was honored to be selected to conduct her break-out session "Enlisting the Super Power of Listening" for the 2023 Rotary International Convention in Melbourne, Australia. She has been approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a SWaM Small Business.
Carol takes being a "life longer learner" seriously. In addition to completion of the GTCI Practioner Course (2023), she is currently taking a course through Launch Academy to build her skills to deliver high quality online courses. In turn, she shares her learning as instructor for online courses such as "Coaching Practices for School Leaders" and lead facilitator for the Virginia Principals Mentoring Pilot.(2024-2025). Since 2015, she has engaged the expertise of local coaches for monthly Lunch & Launch sessions, quarterly Entrepreneur Community Roundtable presentations, mastermind groups, and an annual end-of-year Grande Finale celebration that includes a MicroBiz Expo and Appreciation Luncheon. For over ten years she authored an e-newsletter for aspiring and new solo-preneurs and micro-business owners. Carol is currently pursuing ICF certification in team coaching.
In her spare time, Carol loves reading, exploring new places, and having grand adventures. Since 2012, Carol has been an active member of the Planning Committee for the annual Centreville Day community-building festival in her hometown.
