ICF Metro DC Coaching Book Club
Coach-Author Spotlight: We'll be reading a book by one of our very own members!
We’re delighted to shine a spotlight on one of our own this month! You Can Do This: Enterprise Risk Management Made Simple was written by Elena Yearly, a fellow ICF Metro DC member who many of you will also know as co-chair of our CoCo Café. We’re so pleased to celebrate her work and share it with our community.
In the book, Elena takes a topic that can sound like pure compliance and reframes it as a leadership and coaching tool. Written in a warm, conversational, and encouraging voice, the book draws on principles we already practice as coaches, including self-awareness, strategic thinking, and growth-oriented leadership, to help readers navigate uncertainty with greater clarity and confidence. Rather than a dry technical manual, it meets readers where they are and guides them step-by-step, turning risk “blind spots” into opportunities for growth.
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating Elena’s achievement and exploring a book that connects naturally with the coaching mindset we bring to our work.
